Support Engineer

Mission:

  • Provide highest quality of service as part of a strong customer support team
  • Work with customers to understand the challenges and problems they are facing in the day-to-day usage of the software solution
  • Record and analyze software errors and prepare reference environments for development
  • Liaise with professional services to identify best practice workflows to improve user experience in productive customer environments
  • Support  professional services in initial data load and integration strategies for new and existing customers

Technical Competencies:

  • Honors 3rd level education degree in Computer Science / BSc or appropriate qualifications
  • Work experience in the field of IT support
  • Basic programming knowledge
  • Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle or MSSQL-Server preferred)
  • Experience in using software applications, MS Office, Windows, networks and databases
  • Experience in any of the following areas is an advantage
    • Web server (IIS, Apache)
    • Basic knowledge HTML & xml
    • Issue-tracking (Jira)

  • Self-supportive and capable of target-oriented and structured work
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to formulate abstract solutions in a constructive manner
  • Experienced in working with a variety of stakeholders (internal and external) simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent written and spoken German, as well as good business-level English, written and spoken
  • Willingness to do shift work
